Being Used

Have you ever been at a picnic or maybe a restaurant where they have the tables on the outside for you eat at? As you are eating you look around and see some birds that have gotten real close to your table just hoping that you would drop something so that they might help you enjoy your meal. As you notice them standing there you also notice a look on their face as if they were smiling at you saying in a nice way "how about throwing some food my way please?" Then you pinch some of what you are eating off and throw it their way and they of course know just what to do, they hop right over and they eat it. They are so thankful for your tender heart, a heart of giving and sharing. Here is what you may or may not have known or even thought of, you were part or God's plan to feed the birds. You might say where did you get that?

Matthew 6:26
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? It's amazing what you and I worry about. We worry about our food, clothes and our drink and a bunch more, but have we not stopped to listen to what our Heavenly Father has already told us?

Matthew 6:25
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? The birds don't worry and neither should you and I Are ye not much better than they?

Matthew 6:31
Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat? Or, what shall we drink? Or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

Matthew 6:32
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek :) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Who will God use in your life today? How will we let God use us in someone else's life today? You and I have an appointment today with someone. We don't know when or where but you and I must be ready to pinch off a little part of our lives to help someone else. You will be glad you did; get ready we are going to have a blessed day because God is going to use us.
