Louis Brown

Ever heard the name Louis Brown? Most likely not for it is one of those little known facts; Louis was good friends with Elvis Presley growing up. There was a problem;  you see Louis was black and; well Elvis was white. Back in those days black and white just were not to be friends and if they were it was a problem. It was like the Fox and the Hound, it just wasn’t too be. They were good friends anyways. Now there was one thing that Louis could do very well and that was play a guitar; matter of fact it was Louis that taught Elvis how to play the Guitar. They would sing and play together in the afternoons. It may well have been Louis that taught Elvis some of his moves who knows.  Something happened between Elvis and Louis; no-one really knows what it was. Elvis moved on with his life and so did Louis. Had times been different who knows what would have become of those two boys. History might have been much different than we know it today. When I first read about this I said to myself this could not be true for I have never heard of Louis Brown black or white but after spending some time looking up the facts there was a Louis Brown, and he went into the recording business www.lbrownrecording.com Just goes to show there are a lot of things we just don’t know but the one person we must know is Jesus Christ. My prayer on the first day of April is that you know Him. Have a good weekend and for crying out loud put a smile on your face; Louis Brown would.
