Vietnam

Please take the time to view this trailer; maybe it will help you be a little more thankful for our brave soldiers for war is awful, it's fearful as well as heart breaking and those who returned are never the same. My good friend Phillip Nixon had his liver replaced probably because of Agent Orange  few years back. Well, his liver problems are back please pray for Phillip.

There were many who went into combat expecting to return. Many never returned and as we come to another Memorial Day weekend we should be thankful for their great sacrifice. Let us not forget the ones who served and those who gave it all.

U.S. Marine Thomas Henry Roberts I knew him well; we all thought he was strange when we were kids. Then I found out why! He was a Corporal in the Marine Corps, serving as a Rifle Sharpshooter and member of the Mortar Platoon, a survivor of Iwo Jima. He passed away July 14, 2007 at the age of 86.

I'll write again on Tuesday enjoy the weekend and please take a moment to pray for our soldiers in Afghanistan. Also take a moment and pray for those families that have lost a loved one in combat. It's the least we can do for those brave men who put their lives on the line everyday for you and I. The next time you see a soldier personally thank him for his service. It was 38 years before anyone every thanked me; Vietnam unpopular war I didn't know there was a such thing as a popular war!
