Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” ~ Mark Twain ~
I’m sure you have seen the signs. No, not the Chil’s sign saying straight ahead 3 miles on the right. Nor the Rac Trac sign that reads 5 miles on the left. No, I am talking about the ones that some think are real goof balls that have nailed to a tree that read “Jesus is Coming.” No, the ones who nailed that to a tree understand what the Bible says, that Jesus is Coming back.
2 Thessalonians 2:1 (KJV) Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
Many may say that’s not going to be. May I tell you something that you already know the majority is not always right. Just ask those in the days of Noah. He preached that a disaster was coming and no one believed him.
Genesis 7:11 (KJV) In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. It was fast I would say “all the fountains of the great deep broken up” It was more than just rain. What were the fountains of the great deep? I’m not sure, but the rain came down and a lot of water came from somewhere else and washed those away that were not on the Ark. Some would say that wasn’t fair. Think not? What about the week that Noah and his family were on the Ark with the door wide open?
Genesis 7:1 (KJV) And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
God says “Come thou and all thy house into the ark” Genesis 7:4 (KJV) For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
Seven days passed by but no one went aboard. Then it happened Genesis 7:16 (KJV) And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in. When the last minute of opportunity has passed there will be no more time. When Jesus comes back, returns, rapture; call it what you may, when it happens there will be no more opportunity to be saved. The door is still open but the day of His coming is closer than it has ever been.
