Heavy Duty

When I buy a product I like for it to say "Heavy Duty" it makes me feel like I have got the best product for the job. When we make mistakes; I for one don't want them to be heavy duty because there is no way that could be good. Cleaning products, yes, a mistake in my life; NO! Hebrews 10:29 talks about what happens "if we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth."

Hebrews 10:29
Of how much sorer (severe) punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot (shows no respect for) the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, (set apart) an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Has trampled the Son of God under foot...treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him...and insulted the Spirit of grace. Now you talk about being Heavy Duty Stuff; that's Heavy Duty. The Bible appears to be talking about people who know about Jesus but keep on running their own lives. If you know that Jesus has died on the cross to pay for your sin, if you tell those around you that you know the Lord as your personal Savior and you remain unchanged, that is serious business. And even though you're for Jesus and you agree with Jesus, you may be missing Jesus. The only response worthy of the sacrifice He made for us is to fall on our knees and give ourselves completely to the One who gave Himself completely for us. Anything less than a life-changing personal commitment to Jesus amounts to "trampling the Son of God under foot" and "crucifying the Son of God all over again." This is the greatest mistake anyone can ever make. Don't come this close to Jesus and miss Jesus. See you in Church this Sunday???
