Precepts Conveying Knowledge

Proverbs 13:1 A wise son heareth his father's instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.
Instruction= The act of teaching or informing the understanding in that of which it was before ignorant; information. Precepts conveying knowledge.
A WISE son and his father's teaching of informing. This son becomes WISE by first hearing what his father has said. The next verse tells how this wise son will eat. Notice what is said he will eat good by the fruit of his mouth. Before there is fruit there must first be a planting in good soil. The wise son hears the teaching of his father and the teaching of the father goes into a good fertile heart that produces good fruit.
The next time we see this word "instruction" is in verse 18
Proverbs 13:18 Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.
This time it shows what happens when one refuses to hear what is being taught to them. Poverty and also shame would have been so easily afforded had they just heard and acted on their fathers teaching.
