He’s No Fool

Mark 13:1 (KJV) And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!

Man’s view, the greatness of what’s here, what man has done.

Mark 13:2 (KJV) And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Jesus answered, “you see these large buildings? You think they are something don’t you?   Not one of these stones will be left on top of another. Each one will be torn down." We spend life times building things that won’t last and spend little time on things that will.

Proverbs 10:2 (KJV) Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.

Matthew 6:20 (KJV) But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: God gives us all different talents to use to make this a better world for the present as well as the future. In the process we should also store up things in heaven that won’t be destroyed by fire, wind, water or mankind. Talk goes on about climate change and how we need to do so and so to protect for the future. While at the same time rockets are being fired every day somewhere in the world destroying lives and all they have worked for in just moments. The winds come, the water falls, and much is just swept away before our eyes. This life is so short but yet somehow we think this is it when it’s not. These men saw far beyond their day.

“He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep, to gain that which he cannot lose.”                         James 4:14 (KJV) Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.                                                              There’s much I don’t understand about the present as well as the future. But like the man that was blind said “one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.” Listen to anything you want to and all you will hear is are you prepared for the future in this life. Oh there’s far more than the here and now. Am I putting anything in my Heavenly account? Do I have a Heavenly Account?
