Thanks

Thanksgiving Day is tomorrow but we should be thankful on a daily basis. You might ask how in the world do you expect me to be thankful on a daily basis. With all that is going on I think I might be able to be thankful once a week or so. Oh I am so sorry to hear that you just lost your mate? I didn’t lose my mate you might say; no! Well then you have something to be Thankful for. They tell me you have cancer; I’m so sorry to hear the bad news. Wait you might say I don’t have cancer either. Well then there is something else for you to be thankful for. I met a young man this past weekend that amazed me, he was legally blind. Blind in one eye and had tunnel vision in the other eye. I spent a little time with him and not one time did he complain or say poor me. But instead he went about his business with joy and gladness. I did say at one time that he scared me for I thought he was going to walk off a platform. He just laughed and said oh no I have the lay out here don’t worry. He was thankful for all he had and showed it. What a joy it was just to be around him.  So we should give thanks daily.

 Psa 118:1  O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.

1Co 15:57  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1Co 15:58  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
