Action

Faith is acting out your belief in God. Faith is action. Faith is never stagnant. Have you ever seen water just standing in a hole after a rain? Because there is no outlet for the water, it quickly stagnates. It's not long before you can see all kinds of living parasites, disease, and fungus. In only a few days the water hole begins to smell real bad. Or faith in Jesus is no different. When we act upon our beliefs good things will happen, and when we remain stagnant our faith does not grow. Notice what Psalm 37:3-5 has to say

Psa 37:3
Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
Trust in God and do good = safe living

Psa 37:4
Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Delight in God = receiving the true desires of your heart

Psa 37:5
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Commit your way to God = your life will shine

With these principles and results for our faith, is there really any better way to live than a life of faith in action? Put your faith, your trust, your life in the hands of God and watch the results.
